Overview

Achu is the grand-son of an eminent music director B. A. Chidambaranath who is considered to be one among the pioneers of Malayalam music industry. His father, Rajamani, is also a very popular music director who scored for more than 800 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. Achu learned Carnatic classical from a popular music director M. M. Keeravani. He is also a professional pianist and has accompanied his father playing the piano to many of his compositions.[1] He is a graduate from Loyola College, Chennai in Journalism.
